PCIe Riser 16x to 1x
Easiest way to add multiple GPU's
PCIe Risers allow you to easily connect multiple GPU's to your motherboard so you can mount them externally. They are most commonly used for GPU cryptocurrency mining rigs, but can also be used for 3D rendering, machine learning, and any setup where the multiple GPU's need to be used outside of a conventional PC case.
NOTE: If using PCIe risers with power-hungry GPUs, we recommend using a 6-pin PCIe connector on the Riser directly from the power supply, instead of the included "SATA to 6-pin adapter" (not like we did on the video... oops?). The SATA adapter is only rated up to 4.5 amps. Most GPUs (like the GTX 1080Ti) can draw up to 5.5 amps on the PCIe 12V bus, and could lead to overheating/melting the cables. if your GPU's draw less than 4.5 amps, SATA may be used without any problems but please do your research and don't cut any corners when it comes to powering your expensive hardware!
